About NuNu

NuNu was founded back in 2008 by Kan Chaiwatanachai and Asanti Suwanvalaikorn, 5-month married couple, while they were window shopping at Schiphol airport, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Kan decided to leave full-time job from American well-known advertising agency in Bangkok to start her own business. Although they were just married and kids-virgin, Kan was happened to think of kids-related projects.

That was when the name "NuNu" was started by Asanti. "NuNu" is Thai for "Kids".

After heading back from Europe, there was nothing happened about "NuNu".
After heading back from Hong Kong in months later, there was something about "NuNu". Instead of accomplishing a nice business idea, Kan got pregnant in October 2008. They got a real "NuNu"!

Kaj, baby boy born in 2 June 2009, is like their perpetual inspiration for "NuNu". Moments after moments and pictures after pictures are really worth to live for. Especially the first moments like first cloth, first food, first toy, first shoes, first smile, first word and etc, they are unforgettable.

When Kaj was about 7 months old, Kan was looking for his first pair of shoes. She explored various style and here is her first experiment.

 Kan has been in love with baby shoes ever since and Kaj's "First Shoes Moments" never fade.

Apart from NuNu First Shoes, Kan and Asanti launched "NuNu First Chic" in October 2010, an apparel line offering casual wear for babies to toddlers. Here is their first collection.

Their collection, of course, is inspired by their own son's closet where comfort meets style. "Our intention is to create kids clothing that is accessibly priced, good for everyday and makes moms happy on what their kids firstly wear."

Discovering the First Joy of Parenting therefore stands for "NuNu" which is committed to enhance the joy of first moments in various aspects of modern parenting.
